24. August 2026
More than 35. Ukraine. United in independence
Just as August 1st is a day of freedom, democracy, and human rights for Switzerland, August 24th is a day of celebration for Ukraine. Democracy thrives only where people stand up for it. Ukraine demonstrates great courage in its fight for its dignity, just as Switzerland demonstrated great courage at its founding.
The Ukrainian state is young, but its history, language, and culture are centuries old. Celebrate and discover modern Ukraine with us on Ukrainian Independence Day!
